For the Pust sauna experience in Tromsø, an atmospheric lighting concept was developed that deliberately stages the special connection between architecture, nature, and experience.

The lighting supports the interplay of warmth and cold as well as the interior and the Arctic surroundings. RGBW LED strips emphasize the striking timber structure and integrate it into a harmonious overall composition. The reflection on the water surface creates a strong visual effect, especially in the dark.

Challenge

The challenge was to create lighting that blends sensitively into the Arctic environment while also achieving a clear design impact. Light was to provide orientation, ensure safety, and create a warm, inviting atmosphere.
