For the exclusive Chillout Lounge in Whyl am Kaiserstuhl, AK Lichtdesign developed a tailor-made lighting concept that harmonizes atmosphere, architecture, and quality of stay. The goal was to create an inviting and atmospheric space that combines relaxation, comfort, and a special spatial experience.

The lighting design combines functional illumination with emotional staging. Differentiated lighting scenes structure the space, define cozy seating areas, and create a calm, harmonious basic mood. Light supports the spatial effect, enhances materials and surfaces, and contributes significantly to the identity of the lounge.

The challenge was to create a relaxed yet high-quality atmosphere that can be flexibly adapted to different times of day and usage situations. Light should provide orientation without disturbing the calm of the space and should enable different moods.
