For this distinctive existing facade in Duisburg, AK Lichtdesign developed a precisely coordinated lighting concept for the outdoor space. The goal was to clearly highlight the building’s architectural structure at night and give it a calm, high-quality presence in the urban environment.

The lighting design follows the existing architecture. Horizontal lines, building edges, and facade projections are deliberately emphasized, while vertical accents underscore the height and structure of the building mass. This creates a clear readability of the facade without over-staging it.
